5 Troubleshooting
1 Check whether the batteries are inserted
correctly and have sufficient voltage.
2 Connect the receiver to another USB port on
the PC.
3 If the mouse or keyboard has lost the
wireless connection to the receiver, you can
reestablish it with the following steps:
NOTE: Optimization of the
connection procedure
• Use the receiver on a USB 2.0
connection if possible.
• If you are using a USB 3.0 connection:
Hold the device at a distance of
maximally 30 cm from the receiver
while the connection is being
established.
• Remove other wireless devices with
2.4 GHz from the immediate vicinity of
the receiver during the connection
set-up.
• Do not press any other the keys on the
devices during the connection set-up.
Mouse
• Switch the mouse off.
• Unplug the receiver, and plug it in again.
• Within 30 seconds, hold the scroll wheel
pressed and simultaneously switch the
mouse on.
• Only release the scroll wheel when the
battery status LED
of the mouse
flashes.
The mouse connects to the receiver.
The connection procedure is completed.
Keyboard
• Switch the keyboard on.
• Unplug the receiver, and plug it in again.
• Within 30 seconds, hold the esc and Q
keys pressed simultaneously until the
battery status LED
of the keyboard
flashes.
The keyboard connects to the receiver.
The connection procedure is completed.
6 Disposal

6.1 Disposing of the old units

Dispose of the old units via a collect-
ing point for electronic scrap or via
your dealer.

6.2 Disposing of the batteries

This device contains alkaline batteries.
Do not dispose of them in the house-
hold waste. Batteries may contain pol-
lutants which can harm the environment and
health. Dispose of the batteries with the device
in a retail outlet or at your local recycling
depot. Returning the device is compulsory and
free of charge.
All batteries are recycled. This enables valu-
able resources to be restored such as iron,
zinc or nickel. Recycling batteries is the easi-
est contribution you can make towards envi-
ronmental protection.
