operAtion - Before use for the first time
1. Remove the packaging.
2. Clean the appliance to remove any residues that may be left from the manufacturing process (see
"Cleaning and maintenance"). Dry it thoroughly.
3. Put the plug into the wall socket and allow the krumkake maker to heat up. This will take about 10
minutes; allowing it to heat will remove any packaging odour from the appliance.
The appliance may emit a little smoke and a characteristic smell when you switch it on for the first time.
This is normal, and will soon stop. Make sure the appliance has sufficient ventilation. Never use the
appliance in the vicinity of a bird cage. Fumes released from the non-stick coating can cause stress to
birds.
operAtion - Heating hotdogs
1. Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface where it cannot fall over.
2. Fill the water reservoir (3) till "MAX".
3. Place the transparent steam cup (2) onto the water reservoir.
4. Putt the sausages in upright position in the cup.
5. Place the lid (1) on top of the steam cup.
6. Turn the appliance on.
7. After about 10 minutes the sausages will have the right temperature.
operAtion - Heating bread
1. Cut the tip of the roll (see figure 2A).
2. Make a incision in the middle of the roll
(see figure 2B).
3. Put the roll over a heating pin.
When the sausages have the right temperature you
can put them in the roll. You can start with do some
sauce in the roll first before you put the sausage in.
tip:
Not only you can heat up sausages, but also
steam vegetables, fish, chicken and eggs.
Remove the plug from the wall socket once you have finished using the appliance.
