4)CALCULATING IMPEDANCES

There are generally two ways to wire two or more speakers, please see the
below diagram.
AS A GENERAL RULE OF THUMB:
If speakers with equal impedance are connected in series, the impedances
are added.
Example: Four 8 Ohm speakers wired in series will have an overall imped-
ance of 32 Ohms (8 x 4).
If speakers with equal impedance are connected in parallel, the impedance
is divided by the number of speakers
Example: Four 16 Ohm speakers wired in parallel will have an overall im-
pedance of 4 Ohms (16 divided by 4).
