ASSEMBLY OF COLUMN AND TABLE
1. Position the base on the floor (Fig. 1).
2. Remove the protective sleeve from the
column tube. Place the column assembly on
the base, and align the holes in the column
support with the holes in the base (Fig. 1).
3. Locate four D 8mm x 20 mm long bolts in
loose parts bag (Fig. 1).
4. Install a bolt in each hole through the column
support and the base and tighten with the
adjustable wrench (Fig. 1).
5. Loosen set screw in the column collar with
3mm hex L wrench and remove collar and
rack from column (Fig. 2).
6. Take elevation worm gear shaft in the loose
parts bag. Insert the elevation shaft into the
table support and extend the shaft through
the opening as far as possible. The crank us
to be installed on the elevation worm gear
shaft, the set screw is to be aligned with the
flat portion of the shaft. The crank is to be
positioned as close to the arm support as
possible, then tighten set screw. See
illustration (Fig. 3).
7. With long the long smooth end of the rack
pointing upward, slide the rack down through
the large round operning in the table support.
Engage the rack in the gear mechanism
found inside the opening of the table support
(Fig. 4).
