More settings

Further settings are described below. You can access the corresponding
function via the menu (see menu structure).
Auto Answer (HS Settings)
If set to on, you can answer a call by simply picking up the handset from
the charger, without pressing any key.
Select Base (HS Settings)
If your handset is registered to different base stations (up to 4), you can
select the active base station.
HS Name (HS Settings)
You can give the handset an individual name.
LCD Contrast (HS Settings)
You can adjust the display contrast.
Reset (HS Settings / BS Settings)
Base phone or handset are reset to the delivery state. To reset, you must
enter the PIN (in delivery state 0000).
Audio settings (HS Settings -> Audio Setup)
Set the default handset and loudspeaker volume. You can make individual
changes during a conversation with the volume keys on the side of the
handset.
Ringer melody and ringer volume (HS Settings -> Ring Setup)
Select the ringtone and volume for internal and external calls.
Notification tones (HS Settings -> Tone Setup)
Turn the key tone or the tone for the range warning (handset too far from
the base) on or off.
BS Settings
In this menu, you can deregister handsets, set the dialing method,
determine the duration of the flash signal, change the PIN (in delivery
state 0000) or reset the base to default.
Note: If you have questions about dialing method or flash time, please
contact your network operator.
