the downwards (OFF) position. The LED indicator light will go on indicating
that the spotlight is charging (approximately 12 hours).
NOTE: Do not turn on lamp while charging. Doing so may damage

the unit and is not covered under warranty. As with all lead acid cell
batteries, when storing, be sure to recharge the battery fully every 3-6
months to prolong the life of the battery.
USER REPLACEABLE BULB
•
Halogen Bulb - The 1 million Candle Power Brite-Nite Spotlight Lantern uses
a 6V 55W H3 halogen bulb. Please go to your local automotive/hardware
store for replacement when bulb has burned out.
i.
Simply unscrew the lamp face and carefully change the bulb.
ii. The WHITE wire of the replacement bulb connects to the Brite-Nite's
RED wire.
iii. The BLACK wire of the replacement bulb connects to the Brite-Nite's
BLACK wire.
iv. After replacing the halogen bulb, screw on the lamp face, making
sure a tight fit to ensure no water will enter the housing.

NOTE: Be sure to not touch the glass of the halogen bulb, as doing
so may cause the bulb to shatter. Please refer to the instructions
found on the new bulb for other safety precautions. Always wear
safety glasses when working with hardware.

Fluorescent Bulb – The 1 million Candle Power Brite-Nite Spotlight Lantern
uses a 7W fluorescent bulb. Please go to your local hardware store for the
replacement bulb when bulb has burned out.
i.
Simply unscrew the main lamp face of the halogen bulb.
ii. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the panel inside to take out the
