INTENDED USE
The appliance is only intended to be used for cooking food. Any other use might
lead to damage of the appliance or personal injury.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material. Make sure that no polystyrene remains
on the heating element.
• Check for completeness and transport damage. In case of damage or
incomplete delivery please contact your dealer.
• Keep the packaging for storing your appliance when not in use for a
longer period of time.
• Place the appliance on level, stable, clean, dry and heat resistant surface.
• Operate the appliance before first use on medium setting for 10 to 15
minutes in order to burn off production residues. Make sure there is good
ventilation. There might be some smoke building up, this is normal and
no defect of the appliance.
• Clean the pans, cooking and stone plate with a mild detergent and soft
sponge.
• Do not use scouring or abrasive cleaners. The anti-stick surface of the
pans and the cooking plate might be damaged.
• Dry the pans, cooking and stone plate thoroughly.
• Rub some cooking oil on the pans cooking plate.
• OPERATION
• Prepare the food for the Raclette before switching on the appliance.
• Oil the cooking plate a little and spread some salt on the stone plate to
avoid food sticking to the surface.
• Place the appliance on a heating resistant surface only or place a heat
resistant plate beneath it to protect sensitive surfaces.
• Connect the power plug to wall outlet. The on/off LED lights up.
• Set the desired temperature for cooking the food.
• Choose a higher setting when starting to heat up the appliance quickly.
Set the temperature as desired to cook the food.
• Place the food to grill on the stone plate or the cooking plate.
• Place some cheese in the pans and place them on the shelves below the
stone plate and cooking plate.
