RACLETTE
• You can prepare the Swiss specialty Raclette for up to 8 persons with
this appliance.
• The preparation of Raclette is easy and has a great variety. You can
combine almost any ingredients you like.
• Typical Raclette ingredients are small corn cobs, pineapple, mushrooms,
onions, small asparagus, ham, salami and so on.
• You can also fry sausages or meat in small pieces on the plates.
• Only use cheese for Raclette is Raclette cheese, Emmental cheese,
Gouda or Edam cheese.
• Note: Do not use cheese that melts slowly.
• For Raclette you need 250 grams for each person.
• Traditionally there would be potatoes in the skin as side dish. You might
also use some bread or other side dished.
Melting Cheese:
• Place some ingredients in a pan and cover it with one or two slices of
cheese. Place the pan on shelves and set a low temperature in order for
the cheese to melt slowly and prevent it from burning.
• When bubbles build up in the cheese, it is ready for eating.

• Never immerse the heating unit in water or any other liquids. Clean it
with a soft and Damp cloth only.
• Remove debris from the heating elements with a soft brush.
• Clean the shelves with a soft, not-scouring sponge and some dishwasher
detergent.
• Remove leftovers from the pans and plates while they are still warm with
a damp and soft cloth or paper towels. Clean the pans and cooking plate
