MREL recommends setting the Number of Tests = 16 for when recording short duration events. This reduces
the quantity of data collected per test and conserves the computer's disk space. At a 1 MHz recording rate, a
MicroTrap™ with standard memory will record for a total of 65 ms per test if the Number of Tests = 16 and the
Number of Channels = 4. This is sufficient recording time for many short duration events. See Section 4.6 for more
The procedure to record a new test consists of the following steps:
1.
