Before operating the trimmer, check the following:
1.
Proper clothing as well as safety eye, hand, foot, head and ear protection is worn, check SAFETY INSTRUC-
TIONS Chapter.
2.
The product must be held fi rmly with both hands. The right arm must be slightly bent and holding the rear
handle 4, and the left arm must be straight and holding the front handle 1.
3.
Make sure you have a safe footing and hold the garden trimmer so that the cutting blades 9 are always away
from your body.
Starting and stopping:
1.
Remove the protection of the blade.
2.
Before connecting the equipment to the electrical supply, check if the equipament's voltage matches the
local voltage (110/127 V or 220/230 V).
3.
To start the tool, squeeze the hand safety switch 2 and switch trigger 3 simultaneously. (Figura 8.2).
4.
Release either switch to stop the tool.
ATTENTION

WARNING: Clear the area to be cut before each use. Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire,
or loose string which can become entangled in the cutting blade and create a risk of electric shock and
serious personal injury.
Cutting Sequence:
1.
Before starting your work, select branches with diameter greater than 20mm and cut with scissors for pru-
ning.
2.
First cut both sides in vertical position, bottom up, so that small pieces do not fall in the cutting area (Figure
8.3).
3.
After that, cut the upper part, hold the trimmer with the blade tilted 5-10 degrees to your cutting object
makes the operation easier and assures a better cutting (Figure 8.4).
4.
If a radical cut is necessary, cut a little at a time in several passes, to have better control of the equipment
and to demand less effort from the motor.
