WARNING:
• If the appliance is used in the bathroom please remove the plug
from the socket after use as the proximity of water represents a
hazard. This also applies if the appliance is switched off.
• As additional protection we recommend the installation of a fault
current protection appliance (FI / RCD) with a rated current of not
more than 30 mA in the wiring system of the bathroom. Please
contact an authorised electrician for advice.
• Risk of burns! The appliance gets hot during operation! Do not
touch the heating plates! Hold the appliance only by grabbing
the bottom half where the hinge is located.
CAUTION:
• Put down the appliance only onto a heat-resistant, even surface.
• Keep the turned-on appliance far from easily inflammable ob-
jects or materials.
• Make sure that the power cord does not come into contact with
any hot parts of the appliance.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by chil-
dren, unless they are supervised.
• Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an
authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
