226_TRI-KA – Functions
Set irradiation tolerance (%)
Maximum permitted variation in irradiation (as a percentage)
during measurement of the characteristic curve. If the irradiation
exceeds the tolerance value, the measurement is aborted result-
ing in an error message.
Device information
Press the Info button to check the serial number, the software ver-
sion, the battery status and the date of calibration of the TRI-KA
and TRI-SEN.
Use the TRI-SEN / TRI-KA buttons to change between TRI-SEN and
TRI-KA data. Click the gear button to return to the Settings menu.
Firmware update
If the Firmware Update button is highlighted in yellow, a new
firmware version for the TRI-KA is available on the SD card. Click
the button to install the new firmware.
Follow these steps to update the firmware of the TRI-KA:
1. Download the latest version of TRI-KA firmware from
http://tri-ka.com/en/downloads/
2. Unzip the ZIP file using any of the preinstalled zip programs on
the computer.
3. Delete the old firmware file on the SD card. This is in the fold-
er "...\TRI-KA\Update" under the name "Vx_x_x.TFW"; "x.x.x"
here stands for the appropriate version number. Make sure to
select the file with the extension ".TFW".
4. Store the unzipped "Vx_x_x.TFW" file into the "...\TRI-KA\Up-
date" folder on the SD card.
5. Insert the SD card into the TRI-KA.
6. On the TRI-KA select the Settings menu (chapter 7.4). Press the
Info submenu and the Firmware Update button.
7. Click on OK to start the installation of the new firmware.
8. After installation of the firmware, the TRI-KA must be
restarted.
