Seat depth
•
The default setting of the seat depth is 450 mm.
•
You can reduce the seat depth to 410 mm . You should then use a
newly fitted seat cushion.
•
To adjust the seat depth, undo the fastenings of the backrest, slide
it forward and tighten the screws again (fig. 11).

Seat angle - mechanical
This description only applies, if you have a configuration with a
mechanically adjustable seat angle.
•
The default setting of the seat angle is 1° backwards.
•
The seat angle can be adjusted backward in five settings.
•
To do this, undo the fastening screw on the telescopic section at
the front under the seat.
•
Remove the screws and adjust the seat to the desired angle (fig.
12
12).
•
Place the screws into the nearest possible hole and tighten them
again.
Angle of the back - mechanical
This description only applies, if you have a configuration with a
mechanically adjustable back angle.
•
The angle of the backrest of your electrical wheelchair can be easily
adjusted. In addition, you also have the option of entirely folding
down the backrest forwards.
•
To fold down the backrest, remove the fastening pin on the
backrest and then fold down the backrest. (fig. 13)
•
The back rest angle can be adjusted from 90° to 120° in 10°

increments.
•
Pull the cable behind the back. While doing so, hold the back rest
firmly with your other hand.
•
The pins latch into the holes after the cable is released.

Make sure that both pins, on the right and left, are
fully engaged.
3.5.4. Electronic adjustment
functions
Depending on the configuration it may also be possible to adjust the
angle of the seat, backrest and footrests electronically. For further
details, see chapter 4, "Using the wheelchair".
Beware of the risk of to the user, carer and third
parties when electronically adjusting the seat
functions.
3.5.5. Sag of the back rest
A well-adjusted backrest makes it easier to sit continuously in a relaxed
position and is effective at reducing the risk of pressure sores. Ensure
that there is sufficient slack in the area of the pelvis.
•
First completely remove the pad layer of the back cover.
•
Undo the Velcro straps of the tensioning straps (fig. 14).
•
The straps are adjusted one by one, starting from the bottom.
•
Place the pad layer of the backrest over the tensioning straps.
