4.2 Setup menu

To access the setup menu, from the DETECT screen, press and hold the key
[1] for 1s. approximately until appears the setup screen (Fig. 7.-).
Once inside, to move along the setup menu, press:
[1] : To exit the setup menu.
[2] : To move along the setup options.
[3] : To move among the available values of a menu option or to accept
when there are not available values.
Available setup options are:
START AUTO SCAN: It starts the auto scan function (refer to section 4.2.1).
EXTERNAL SUPPLY: This is the voltage that the instrument can provide to the

antenna through the RF connector. Available values are:
OFF, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V.
There are three different options: ON, OFF and BEEP.
The option ON emits a sound that varies in tone
depending on the input power and also sounds a beep
when pressing a key. The option OFF does not emit any
sound. The option BEEP, emits a beep every time you
press a key but does not sound the power detector.
