Operation of the Appliance

Location

• Place the machine on the dry, non-slip surface.
• Take care that the appliance and the mains cable
never are placed onto hot surfaces or near heat
sources (e.g. range, hob).

Assembly

• If you want to use only one sieve tray, please use
the one with the closed air duct. You see the inscrip-
tion "COUVERCLE TOP TAPA SUPERIOR".
• If you use several sieve trays, the sieve tray with
the closed air duct needs to be placed in the upper
position.
• Use the appliance only with the lid closed.

Electric Connection

Before inserting the power plug into the outlet, check
that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the
appliance. You can find the required information on the
nameplate.

Use

1. Connect the appliance to a tested socket. The
appliance is in standby mode. The display will show
"Hr" for "hours" and the number of hours "00" flash.
2. Press the TIME / TEMP button. You will see the
preset temperature "55 °C".
NOTE:
If you want to change the temperature unit to "°F"
change, hold the TIME / TEMP button pressed
down for about 3 seconds. This change is only
possible in standby mode.
3. Press the button " " or " " to set the desired
temperature. With each press on the button, the
temperature increases or decreases by 5 °.
WARNING:
• Always remove the mains lead before cleaning!
• Wait until the machine has cooled down completely!

4. Press TIME/TEMP. The display will flash "00".
5. Press the button " " or " " to set the desired
dehydrating time. With each press on the button,
the time increases or decreases by 1 hour. If you
hold the button " " or " " pressed, a fast mode
will start.
6. Press the START/PAUSE button to switch on the
appliance. In the display, you will see the symbol
NOTE:
• During operation, the remaining time and the
set temperature are alternately indicated in the
display.
• To interrupt the operation, press once briefly
the START / PAUSE button. The display will
flash "PA". If you want to continue the opera-
tion, press again the button START / PAUSE.
• You can change the temperature or the dehy-
drating time at any time during operation by
using the TIME / TEMP button. But please note:
Once you increase or decrease the time, the
full-hour countdown will start from the begin-
ning. The minutes during which the appliance
has already been in operating mode will not be
considered.

Stop Operation

• When the set time has elapsed in the timer, the
appliance automatically switches to standby mode.
The heating and the fan will stop. The display will
show "00".
• You can also previously cancel the operation at
any time. Hold the START / PAUSE button pressed
down for about 3 seconds.
• Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
