• Do not spread butter or any other fat on the bread before insert it
in the toaster.
• Bread may burn; bread toasters must not be used in the
proximity of, or under curtains or other flammable materials.
They must be kept under surveillance.
• This appliance is not intended for using with an external timer or
a separate system of remote control.
• The cleaning and maintenance done by users, can not be done
by children unless they are over 8 years and they are under
supervision.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic use only.
• If the cable were to deteriorate it must be changed by an
Authorised Service Centre.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE

• Pass the cable cord through the guide at the bottom of the toaster.
• Connect the appliance into the mains and select the toasting level with the regulator knob (2).
• In order to check the desired toasting you require initially, we recommend you to set the regulator knob (2) to a
medium position modifying it later to adapt it to your taste.
• Put the bread into the slot (10) and press the control knob (1) down. The "cancelar" indicator light (6) will light on.
This indicator will be always on when the toaster is functioning.
• To toast frozen bread repeat the same process and press the "defrost" button (4). The indicator light (7) will light
on.
• Once the bread is toasted, the slices of toast will appear in the top of the slot (10). To facilitate the extraction of
them and prevent from touching hot metal parts, lift the control knob (1) and remove them.
• If after you have finished toasting the bread, it goes cold, repeat the toasting process by pressing the control
knob down and then press the "reheat" button (5). The indicator light (8) will light on.
• If you wish to interrupt the toasting process, press the "cancel" button (3). Once pressed the toaster will
disconnect itself automatically and the slices of toast will appear in the upper slot.
• While the toaster is working it is important to keep the crumb-collector tray (9) in place.
