FIRMWARE UPDATE

Your MP5 Energy™ has an installed operating system, usually called firmware, which
eventually can be reinstalled or updated. The process is easy, but has to be performed
carefully, and only when it is really necessary. If you see that the player halts, reboots
randomly, or you have problems to access the microSD memory card content, those are signs
that the firmware might be damaged and you should reinstall.
Follow these steps to install the firmware:
1.
Access to the Energy Sistem's webpage using your Internet browser: www.energysistem.com.
2.
Go to the "Download" section and choose the "MP5 players" product.
3.
Choose your model from the list and download the latest available firmware for your device.
Note
: Make sure the firmware you are downloading is specific for your model and serial
number; otherwise you could damage the unit.
4.
Uncompress the file in your computer and copy the file to a microSD memory card.
5.
Connect your Energy™ 65 Series to a power supply using its AC/DC power adaptor.
6.
Insert the microSD memory card into the player's slot and turn on the device.
7.
Choose the option "DIGITAL TV" from the main menu, select the option "Software update"
and when the files explorer will be displayed search for the file that you just copied in the
microSD card.
8.
Select the file with the PLAY button to start the installation.
IMPORTANT
: Do not press any button neither turn off the device while the new firmware
is being installed; otherwise the device's internal memory could get damaged.
9.
After the installation is done the player will restart automatically, and you will be able to
enjoy it right away.
