Controls and indicators on the front panel
The Autark has the following controls and indicators on the
DS512
front panel:
1. Radio antenna
The radio antenna is firmly attached to the Autark

antenna to the right so that it rests in front of the front panel. Other-
wise the radio antenna may be damaged or even break off.
For operation, unfold the antenna to improve the transmission quality.

Operation
In order to set up the wireless transmission of the

Fold the radio antenna up to ensure optimal transmission quality.

Prepare the DMX receiver (e.g. the Nowsonic Autark
flooder) by unfolding its receiving antenna and switching the
device to receiving.
5) Press the
LINK button on the Autark
transmitter with the receiver.
NOTE:
Please note that you have to set up the communication on
both the source device and the receiver: both devices have to be
set to the same address to guarantee proper data transmis-

sion. The Autark DS512
only sets up the wireless connection.
6) If required, you can tap the
DMX OUT
in the section and loop it through to additional local
devices.
