Sie vor Auspacken der DS2416 einen geerdeten Metallgegenstand des Rechners, z.B. der Stromversorgungsblende anfassen. Halten Sie die DS2416 so, daß Sie sie gerade in den PCI-Anschluß schieben können und drücken Sie sie in den Slot. Befestigen Sie die DS2416 mit der Blendenschraube, die Sie vorhin gelöst haben.

Das Wordclock-Signal hat dieselbe Frequenz wie die gewählte Sampling-Fre- quenz. Das interne Wordclock-Signal der DS2416 weist eine Frequenz von 44,1kHz auf (das ist übrigens die Norm für Audio-CDs). Die DS2416 kann als Wordclock-Master verwendet oder einem anderen Gerät “unterstellt werden”.
