WIRING

a. Connecting the videophone
To avoid disturbance and malfunction risks, do not put the video door phone cable in the same sheath as electric
cables.
1. Carefully connect the devices according to wiring diagram.
2. Only 2 wires are necessary for all the functions:
ring tone, image, sound, control of an automatic gate opener and control of an electrical strike or lock
Distance between the last panel
and the last monitor
From 1 to 100 m
Warning: Do not double up the wires to increase the cross-section under any circumstances
Connection of the monitor to the intercom panel in the kit:
• Terminals "C+" "C-" of the monitor to terminals "C+" "C-" of the intercom panel.
To avoid any video disturbance, you are advised to reduce the distance between the most distant monitor and the
intercom panel, if possible (see star wiring fig.9)
b. Connecting an electric latch or lock
Connect the lock directly to terminals
Note that this function is only valid when the screen is switched on. The image disappears briefly
when the command is transmitted.
Important : It is essential that the electric latch or lock installed has a mechanical memory like all products marketed
by Extel.
c. Connecting a gate opener
Connect the gate motor directly to terminals
contact without power for the "push button" command of the automatic control.
Note that this function is only valid when the screen is switched on.
d. Power supply connection
Connect it directly to the P+ and P- terminals at the back of the monitor. (Take care to observe proper polarity)
- A single power unit is sufficient when installing with multiple monitors.
- The power supply must be installed on the monitor closest to the first intercom panel

Each monitor and each intercom plate must have a different address.
However, it is essential that the main monitor has the address 3 OFF and 4 OFF and the main intercom panel 1
OFF and 2 OFF.
On/Off switch: this allows the impedance of the cable to be adjusted and is a great help in case of poor image
quality. To be set to ON or OFF depending on the quality of the video on the screen.
Each change in settings must be validated by the disconnection, during 30 seconds, of the adapter
