Unpacking the device
1. Unpack the device.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as foils, filling material,
cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or display obvious
damage, do not operate the appliance. Return promptly to the
dealer.
NOTE:
There might be particles or production remains on the device. We
recommend you wipe the enclosure with a damp cloth.
Assembly
You can assemble the grill with the legs as a standing unit or without
legs as a table top unit. Please follow the illustrations.
1. Insert the four long leg sections with the open end into the shelf
from below.
2. Push the four short sections into the leg sections from above. The
elbow sections point inwards.
NOTE:
There is a hole in the leg sections.
3. Check whether all leg sections are in the correct position and that
the holes are exposed.
4. With the help of the supplied nuts and bolts, fasten the framework.
5. Insert the offset screws into the holes from the inside and turn on
the wing nuts.
6. Place the grill onto the framework and carefully push it on. The
grill can be pushed onto the framework to a depth of about 2 cm.
7. Check that the stand is stable.

6 Grill base
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.

2. Clean the grid and grill pan with a damp cloth.
3. Pour 1 liter of cold water into the grill pan up to the "MAX" mark. A

4. Fit the heating element with the thermostat onto the housing.

Connected load
The device is intended for a maximum power intake of 2000 W. This
connected load recommends a separate input lead secured with a
16 amp protected switch.
Your appliance is now ready for use.
Installation
"MAX" mark can be found on the back section of the grill pan.
CAUTION:
Always grill with water to avoid overheating.
Do not fill with water above the "MAX" mark in order not the
damage the heating element.
Slide the thermostat from above into the recess of the housing.
Press gently until it audibly clicks into place.
NOTE:
The thermostat is equipped with a safety switch. It prevents
operation of the heating element outside the housing. Check
that the thermostat is properly fitted in the housing.

CAUTION overload:
When using extension cords, these should have a cable cross-
section of at least 1.5 mm².
Do not use gang plugs, because the device is too powerful.
Prior first-time operation
Operate the device without barbecue for 15 minutes whilst grill
base is filled with water.
Turn the temperature control on the thermostat to the highest
position.
The protective foil on the heating element will be removed.
NOTE:
Slight formation of smoke is thereby normal. Ensure sufficient
ventilation.
