8. Calibrating the E-Scooter

You must calibrate the E-Scooter if the LED balance sensor starts shining red, or if
the E-Scooter runs unevenly, vibrates or pulls to one side.
 Place the device on an even surface, with both wheels pointing forward and
straighten the footboard. Use a spirit level to get the best result.
 Press and hold down the on/off switch on the rear of the device for a few
seconds until you hear a number of signal tones.
 Then press the on/off switch again to switch the device off and then on again.
You have now calibrated the E-Scooter.

9. Cleaning the E-Scooter

 Remove the battery charger before cleaning the E-Scooter.
 Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device.
 Do not use chemical solutions or cleaning agents because these may damage
the device's surface or the labels on it.
 Use water and a soft brush to clean any stubborn dirt from the wheels. Take care
to ensure that no liquid/water gets into the interior of the device.

10. Error messages

The E-Scooter is equipped with a number of different safety features.
WARNING!

Risk of injury!

Ignoring error messages can result in injuries.
 Stop the device and get off immediately if you hear
or see an error message. Then check the device.
Error messages are displayed when:
Surfaces are unsafe (uneven, too steep).
The battery charge is too low.
The maximum speed has been reached or speed is too high.
The motor overheats.
The pitch angle of the footboards is more than 17 °, when you are getting on or
travelling.
The balance sensor fails.
The E-Scooter has been shaken for more than 30 seconds.
