INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
Keep the device away from hot surfaces. The device should always be kept out of reach of children and
mentally disabled person. Always ensure unobstructed access to the electricity plug. Make sure the power
source reflects the parameters on the rating plate.

Before using the machine, adjust the device's length to match the user's height by using the length adjustment
locking nut. To change the length, turn the nut anticlockwise, extent the tube to the desired length and
tighten by twisting the nut clockwise. Hold the device with both hands and adopt a comfortable standing
position. Hold the nozzle above the weeds and press the ON/OFF button. To turn off the device, release the
ON/ OFF button.
WARNING! Do not use the device in one spot for more than 30 seconds because this may cause a fire.
Between activation intervals make 10–15 seconds pause. After usage, inspect the working area to make sure
grass, dry leaves, needles or trees etc. are not on fire.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
During transport, the machine should be protected from shaking, falling and turning upside-down. Store it in
a properly ventilated place with dry air humidity and without any corrosive gas.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the device before cleaning it and after each use.
• To clean the surface, use cleaners without corrosive substances.
• After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried before reusing it.
• Store the unit in a dry, cool, free from moisture and protected from direct sunlight exposure location.
• Never spray the device with water jets.
REGULAR CONTROL OF THE DEVICE
Check regularly if the device is damaged. In case of damage, please stop using it immediately and contact
customer service for solving the problem.

What to do in case of a problem?
Please contact customer service and prepare the following information:
• Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be found on the technical plate on the device).
• If necessary, take a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.
• It will be easier for your customer service assistant to determine the source of the problem if you
give a detailed and precise description of the problem. The more detailed your information, the better
customer service will be able to solve your problem rapidly and efficiently!
CAUTION: Never open the device without the authorization of your customer service. This can lead to
a loss of warranty!
