7. Setting Mode: Choose the "Setting Mode" and press "OK" to confirm. The manual mode and the fixed mode
have to be turned off. First of all, you reach the menu for selecting the channels "Set Line 1", etc. Use the
+/- buttons to select the requested channel and confirm with "OK". In the next menu select the requested
switching point with +/- and confirm with "OK".
There are five switching points per channel: Set Line 1: white + blue – Set Line 2: royal blue – Set Line 3: blue
– Set Line 4: red – Set Line 5: purple – Set Line 6: UV.
Adjustable are:
00:00 to 00:00 for time period setting
000% to 000% for adjustment of the brightness
Use the +/- buttons to adjust the values, by pressing "OK" you reach the next value, by pressing "M" you can
exit the switching point.
For example: If you set 6:00 to 6:30, 0% to 100%, then the light will light up from 6:00 and in 30 minutes will
go up to 100% brightness. This means that the brightness will increase about 3.33% every minute. At 6:30,
100% are reached.
If you set 6:00 to 8:00, 1% to 100% (or 100% to 1%), the brightness will increase or decrease by 0.83% every
minute.
If the light shall not get constantly brighter, set 6:00 to 18:00, 70% to 70%. Then it will light up at 70% for 12
hours.
If you set 21:00 to 5:00, 0% to 0%, then the light is off from 21:00 to 5:00 the next morning.
If the light should work as a moonlight at night, you should select maximum 1% during the dark phase. The
zooxanthellae of corals as well as the plants should not be encouraged for photosynthesis at night.
After all programs are set, press M to exit. All programs are saved now. If the dimmer is on, only the time is
displayed.
Hints:
1. Each setting time refers to the last setting, e. g. if the first setting is 06:00 to 07:00, then the next setting
can only start at 07:00. No time before 07:00 can be set.
2. The dimmer saves the settings, even if it is unplugged. If the dimmer is switched on again,
last saved settings.
After disconnecting the power supply, it takes about one minute for the controller to turn on the connected light.
6. Warranty conditions
AB Aqua Medic GmbH grants the first-time user a 24-month guarantee from the date of purchase on all material
and manufacturing defects of the device. Incidentally, the consumer has legal rights; these are not limited by
this warranty. This warranty does not cover user serviceable parts, due to normal wear & tear ie: impellers or
drive wheels etc. The original invoice or receipt is required as proof of purchase. During the warranty period,
we will repair the product for free by installing new or renewed parts. This warranty only covers material and
processing faults that occur when used as intended. It does not apply to damage caused by transport, improper
handling, incorrect installation, negligence, interference or repairs made by unauthorized persons. In case of
a fault with the unit during or after the warranty period, please contact your dealer. All further steps
are clarified between the dealer and AB Aqua Medic. All complaints and returns that are not sent to
us via specialist dealers cannot be processed. AB Aqua Medic is not liable for consequential damages
resulting from the use of any of our products.
