• If the water feature will run during winter months in an in-line installation, the
electrode housing and electrodes must remain installed. Water must run through the
electrode chamber continuously to prevent freezing.

Troubleshooting Guide
Always turn off power before inspecting. Failure to observe this precaution can result in a
serious accident.
Before ordering repairs, carefully read through this instruction booklet. If the problem
persists, contact your dealer.
Problem
Power Indicator is
flashing (blue)
Possible Cause
Excessive corrosion on
the electrodes
Insufficient water flow
through the electrodes
Ionization level is set
significantly lower than
the level of conductivity
Possible Solution
Remove the electrodes by rotating
½ turn in a counter clockwise direction.
Inspect the electrodes and remove any
built-up corrosion
Operating without a strong flow of
water across electrodes will allow ions
to simply jump across to the opposite
electrode instead of being carried into
the water feature. This will result in ex-
cessive corrosion of the electrodes and
insufficient treatment of water
The conductivity level of the water is
too high for selected level of ionization.
Increase the level of ionization until the
indicator light stops flashing. Monitor
copper levels and unplug the control
panel if copper levels become elevated.
