6 Before switching the appliance on

6.1 Filter installation

1) Disconnect the power cord from the mains.
2) Remove the grill with the pre-filter (4.1, item C) for air intake.
3) Take the evaporation filter out of the plastic bag.
4) Place unpacked filter back to the unit.
5) Then, re-install the grill with the pre-filter for air intake.
6) The average service life of filters under normal use (approx. 8 hours/day) is
approximately 12 months.

6.2 Proper placement

If the appliance is in operation, make sure that its rear part is situated at least 20
cm from any walls or furniture.
 Install the appliance in an upright position on a stable and level floor.
 Input voltage parameters must comply with the nameplate on the unit, and
the electrical socket must be grounded and properly connected.
 Make sure that the tank is correctly inserted into the unit.
 Turn on the appliance and follow the operating instructions as shown
below.

7 Control instructions

Insert the power cord plug in a properly protected socket. Make sure the input voltage
requirements comply with the values given on the technical nameplate on the appliance.
