A panel cut out of 45 by 45mm is required for panel mounting (use hole
punch RS stock no. 600-048).
The controller is retained by a special clip supplied with the unit and can
be fitted into panel up to 10mm thick.
Proportional band adjustment
The size of the proportional band will increase as the proportional band
control is turned anti-clockwise. This control is situated below and to the
left of the dial and is numbered 1 in figure 3.
Increasing the proportional band will reduce over shoot at the expense
of slower response. The size of band required will be governed not only
by the response required but also by the thermal characteristics of the
system under control.
A lock , numbered 2 in figure 3, is provided to enable the temperature
setting to be locked to prevent tampering or accidental adjustment. A
2mm A.F. hex is supplied with each unit ot operate this lock.
