In order to get professional results, fabrics must be damped with steam and then dry-iro-
ned:
1. Place the iron at a 20cm distance from the fabric and press the steam button. Iron the
clothes in circular movements so the steam moistens the fabric. Light creases require
only a few seconds under the steam. On heavy fabrics or difficult creases the steam
should be apply for a longer time.
2. Check that the thermostat knob is set on the correct position for the clothes to be
ironed. Release the steam and dry iron the clothes. The iron's soleplate will prevent the
fabrics from wearing.
