OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE OPERATION
IS YOUR ENGINE READY TO GO?
For your safety, and to maximize the service
life of your equipment, it is very important to
take a few moments before you operate the
engine to check its condition. Be sure to take
care of any problem you find, or have your ser-
vicing dealer correct it, before you operate the
engine.
WARNING: Improperly maintaining this
engine, or failing to correct a problem before
operation, could cause a malfunction in which
you could be seriously injured. Always perform
a pre operation inspection before each opera-
tion, and correct any problem.

FLEXIBLE SHAFT
TO FIX THE VIBRATING SHAFT ON THE CON-
CRETE VIBRATOR:
NOTE: This concrete vibrator is designed to
work with SURTEK brand Vibrator shaft. Do
not attempt to use the concrete vibrator with
any other type of Vibrator shaft
1. Make sure the engine is switched off as the
coupling is direct and the parts must be static
to be able to engage without damage.
2. Insert the coupling
of the assembly into
the barrel tube mak-
ing sure that the pivot
is off. And verifying
that
the
coupling
teeth match so that
the coupling reaches
its stop.
3. Once the point is reached, make sure that
the male coupling does not come out insert the
pivot.

OPERATION
To obtain the greatest possible benefit from
your vibrator the following observations are
suggested; Before casting:
• Have the equipment already prepared and
tested to eliminate any possible faults.
• Check the vibrator assembly for any loose or
improperly placed part to prevent penetration
of water inside.
• Check the correct coupling of the vibrator as-
sembly to the engine.
• Check engine start.
• Vibration check of the dry set, if the head
does not vibrate, it will have to give a slight
blow to the tip of the same to generate the
oscillation.
In casting:
• Place the concrete inside the frame in layers
of 30 to 50 cm before starting the vibration.
• It is recommended that in case of deep
cramps a drop tube is placed in the placement
of the concrete.
