When a disc is playing, press on the PLAY/PAUSE button [4] to suspend operation. Press again
to resume operation.
•
Pressing the STOP button [5] once will stop playing a disc, but the position on disc is
memorized and playing will resume at the memorized position when the PLAY/PAUSE button
[4] is pressed.
•
Pressing the STOP button [5] twice will completely stop the operation (position not memorized).
Note that the disc will keep spinning for about 4 minutes after the stop button is pressed.
•
To select menu items in either the disc menu or setup menu, use the UP [14], DOWN [16],
PREV [6] or NEXT [7] or the arrow buttons on the remote control. Confirm/execute a selection
with the PLAY/PAUSE button [4].
•
For discs containing an on-disc menu, access this menu by pressing the MENU button [15].
Note that the Play Back Control (PBC) must be on (see §9 preference page). Use the UP [14],
DOWN [16], PREV [6] or NEXT [7] or the arrow buttons on the remote control.
Confirm/execute a selection with the PLAY/PAUSE button [4]. It is also possible to use the
number buttons on the remote control to make a selection. Use the 10
numbers.

Track selection of audio CDs can be done through the number buttons on the remote control.
•
FFWD/REV:
Press the fast forward (
display. The speed control in either direction is divided in 5 steps: 2x – 4x – 8x – 16x – 32x.

Availability of this function depends on the used disk type.

REPEAT:
The function of the repeat button (on the remote control) depends on the disc data. When
playing DVD discs, pressing the repeat button once will repeat the current chapter, pressing it
twice will repeat the current title, pressing it 3 times will repeat everything and pressing it 4
times will exit repeat mode. For other discs, pressing the repeat button once will repeat the
current track, pressing it twice will repeat the whole disc and pressing it 3 times will exit repeat
mode.
For MP3/MPEG4 playback, there are five repeat-modes:
SINGLE: all songs or videos will be played once
o
REPEAT ONE: the current playing song or video will be repeated
o
REPEAT FOLDER: the songs or videos in the current folder will be repeated
o
FOLDER: all the songs or videos in the current folder will be played once
o
SHUFFLE/RANDOM: the songs or videos will be played in random order.

SUBTITLE:
Press the SUBTITLE button until the desired language is shown. Note that this function depends
on the inserted disc and not all languages are available.
•
DISPLAY:
Use the DISPLAY button to see playing and remaining time. For DVDs, pressing the DISPLAY
button once shows the elapsed time for the current title; pressing twice will show the remaining
time for the title. For CD discs, pressing DISPLAY once to show the currently played track,
pressing twice shows the remaining time for the current track, pressing a third time shows the
elapsed time for the current disc and a fourth time shows the elapsed time for the current
chapter.
•
ZOOM:
Use the ZOOM button on the remote control to zoom in (x2, x3 or x4) or out (x1/2, x1/3 or
x1/4). Use the arrow buttons to move the zoomed image over the screen (panning).
•
SLOW:
While playing, press the SLOW button on the remote control to play the video at lower speed.
Four speeds are available. Push until the speed returns to normal.

Head phones
•
The media player comes with two wireless IR head phones.
•
Push the button on the headphone to switch it on or off. A red LED indicated the status of the
headphone.
•
Control the volume with the knob on the headphone. Always verify the volume setting before
using the headphones to avoid ear-damage.
