Intended application
The WEN Engraving Pen is intended for engraving of metals including hardened steel, glass,
plastics, ceramics and stone. It can also be used for operations in wood or stone if equipped
with an oscillating knife or chisel.
Air supply requirements
Follow ISO 8573 - 1 category 3/4/4.
Use an air supply which is water free, filtered and regulated at 6 - 7 bar.
Blow extension hoses clean before using. Apply a few drops of oil in the air inlet and briefly
blow through before using.
Throttle action
Pen is activated by turning ring throttle (item 4) anti-clockwise as seen from the back end of
the pen. Pen is de-activated by turning ring throttle clockwise.
If the pen stops at a "dead point" it can be set going by gently tapping the stylus.
Operation
For maximum accuracy, hold the marking pen near to its point and at a steep angle to the
surface of the object.
