ADJUSTING THE HANDLE

Adjust the placement and angle of the handle, as needed:
1. Turn the knob counterclockwise to loosen the handle (Fig. 3). Do
not unscrew the knob completely.
2. Hold the unit in the operating position (Fig. 14) and move the
handle to a comfortable location (Fig. 4). Slide the handle up or
down the upper shaft housing. Make sure the handle is
positioned beyond the limiter (Fig. 4).
3. Pivot the handle forward or backward to the desired angle (Fig.
4). Make sure the handle is seated securely into one of the
available positions.
4. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten the handle (Fig. 3).
ADJUSTING THE SHAFT LENGTH
Adjust the length of the shaft, as needed:
1. Rotate the collar clockwise to unlock the collar (Fig. 5).
2. Slide the lower shaft housing up or down to achieve the desired
length (Fig. 5).
3. Rotate the collar counterclockwise to lock the collar and the
lower shaft housing securely in place (Fig. 5).
ADJUSTING THE CUTTING HEAD ANGLE
Adjust the cutting head angle, as needed:
1. Press and hold both pivot buttons (Fig. 6).
2. Pivot the motor housing until the cutting head is at the desired
angle (Fig. 6). There are several predefined positions.
3. Release the pivot buttons.
4. Make sure the motor housing is securely locked in place.
