2.1.2 General precautions
WARNING!
•
The unit is for a professional use only.
•
Do not operate, service or repair the equipment if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs which
could impair your alertness or co-ordination.
•
Only well-trained and qualified personnel who have read the Use and Maintenance Manual carefully are
allowed to use the unit.
•
Keep children and animals away from the unit.
•
Do not alter the safety and protective devices.
•
The operator is the only responsible for injuries caused to other people or for damages caused to their
belongings.
•
The unit shall be used for the purposes described in par. "Product Description" only. Other uses could
cause injuries and/or damages.
•
Keep the unit in a dry place.
•
Never open the converter box. The unit has been designed in order not to need any maintenance
operations. In case of problems, please carry the unit to a Campagnola Authorised Service Point
2.2 Use
• The unit shall be strictly used for the purposes described in par. 'Product Description'. Other uses could cause injuries
and/or damages.
• Do not leave the unit in the rain. Store it in a dry place.
• Do not leave the converter unit (2) under the sun rays. Do not expose it to microwaves sources. It shall not be subject
to hits or high pressure. Do not dip it into the water or keep it in a humid place. Keep it away from heat sources
(>60° C) and flammable stuff.
• Do not open the converter unit (2) or the corresponding battery-charger. In case of problems, do not use the
component and immediately carry the unit to a Campagnola Authorised Service Point for a reparation or a
replacement.
2.3 Maintenance
Warning!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments of the mechanical parts of the equipment, wear protec-
tive shoes, gloves and goggles.
• Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
• Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
• Before any maintenance or mechanic adjustment operation, disconnect the product from its pneumatic, electric or me-
chanic power source.
• Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
• Only service mechanics are authorized to deactivate the safety devices provided on the product when maintenance is
to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the product. The safety devices shall be
activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
• All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA S.R.L. Authorized
Service Points.
• When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized by the
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed;
- the machine runs in a trouble-free way;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the machine.
