9. Cleaning and maintenance
The case is made of acid-resistant material and easy to clean. Surface and operating
elements may be cleaned with a mild dishwashing detergent (water and a standard
dishwashing detergent) and a soft, lint-free moist cloth. Under no circumstances the
surface should be cleaned with acids, chlorinated solvents or saline solutions.
Do not rub or scratch to avoid damages of the inscriptions and the surface. If you use
any other cleaning method, please make sure that the intended method does not cause
any damage to the instrument.
Attention:
Carefully prevent that no liquid penetrates into the spaces between the
keys. Do not rinse the instrument.
10. Dismantling and disposal
1. Switch off the instrument by means of the rocker switch.
2. Disconnect the instrument from the mains.
3. Now you can remove the instrument from the working area.
Damaged and/or disposed electric or electronic equipment has to be disposed
of at the designated recycling depot.
Also the packing material should be disposed of environment-friendly
(material separation).
11. Transport and storage
11.1 Packing/Transport
Please use, if possible, the original packaging. Protect the instrument by means of
bubble wrap against mechanical shocks from the outside. In case you do not use the
original packaging, please mark the box with the following notes:
