1 Power LED
2 Power switch
3 Inputs (XLR jacks, balanced) of channels 1 and 2:
connection of balanced capacitor microphones or
electret microphones designed for a 48 V phantom
power supply
4 Outputs (XLR chassis plugs, balanced) of chan-
nels 1 and 2: connection to balanced microphone
inputs on the audio unit (mixer or amplifier)
5 Mains fuse; replace a blown fuse by one of the
same type only
6 Mains cable to connect 230 V~/50 Hz
2 Applications
The phantom power supply unit EMA-200 supplies the
required voltage to capacitor microphones or electret
microphones designed for a phantom power of 48 V .
Thus, it allows connection of these microphones to
mixers or amplifiers which do not provide any phantom
power. It is possible to connect up to two microphones
to the unit.

4 Setting the Unit into Operation
Up to two capacitor microphones or electret microphones
can be connected to the phantom power supply unit.
The microphones must have a balanced connection.
1) Connect the cables of the microphones to the
MICROPHONE INPUTS (3) of channels 1 and 2.
(The XLR jacks are provided with a latching device.
To release it, press the PUSH lever of the corre-
sponding jack when disconnecting the plug.)
2) Connect the OUTPUTS (4) of channels 1 and 2 to
balanced microphone inputs of the audio unit used
(mixer or amplifier).
3) Connect the plug of the mains cable (6) to a mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz).
4) Switch on the phantom power supply unit with the
switch POWER (2). With the unit switched on, the
power LED (1) next to the switch lights up. After op-
