IMPORTANTI ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA

1. Leggere attentamente questo manuale di istruzioni
prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio.
2. Non tentare di aprire e riparare l'unità. Non ci sono
parti riparabili dall'utente all'interno della plastificatrice.
3. Le riparazioni devono essere eseguite da personale
autorizzato. La manutenzione non autorizzata fa
perdere la garanzia dell'unità.
4. Utilizzare solo pouche con il giusto spessore e
dimensione. Le pouche troppo sottili possono essere
facilmente catturati e provocare inceppamenti.
5. Mai plastificare materiale sensibile al calore come
carta termica per fax.
6. La superficie della macchina è calda durante il
funzionamento. I bambini che usano la macchina
devono essere sorvegliati da adulti.
7. Non utilizzare mai pouche plastificanti a freddo in una
plastificatrice a caldo. La macchina, la pouche e i
documenti saranno danneggiati.
8. Mai plastificare su puntine metalliche o graffette.
Guida alla plastificazione
1. Attenzione! Potete notare un odore proveniente dalla
plastificatrice durante i primi utilizzi. Non allarmatevi.
E' normale e l'odore scomparirà durante il normale
utilizzo.
2. Assicurarsi che l'interruttore sia in posizione OFF prima
di collegare l'unità. Utilizzare solo prese di corrente con
la tensione di alimentazione giusta e tipi di spine corretti.
3. Spostare l'interruttore di alimentazione principale sul
retro del macchina sullo spessore di pouche desiderato
(Sistema US 3 mil e 5 mil, Sistema Metrico 80 mic e
125 mic). L'indicatore ROSSO s'illuminerà.
4. Quando l'indicatore VERDE è accesso, l'unità è pronta
per la plastificazione.
5. Inserire il documento nel formato di pouche corretto.
Lasciare circa 3 a 5 mm su ciascun lato della pouche.
Si consiglia vivamente di non mettere più documenti più
piccoli in una grande pouche. Ciò potrebbe causare
scarsi effetti di laminazione e inceppamenti della
pouche.

6. Insert the pouch evenly, with the closed end first,
into the front side paper inlet.
7. The laminated documents exiting the machine may
still be hot so precautions are required while
handling.
8. It is recommended using 5 mil pouches when
laminating thin of soft materials. When laminating
thicker or harder materials it is recommended using
3 mil pouches to help void jams when laminating.
9. Do not trim pouches before laminating. Always
leave a minimum pouch border of approximately 1/4"
around your document. Using trimmed pouches prior
to lamination can lead glue exposer to the rollers
which can result in pouch jams.
10. When changing the laminating thickness selection,
leave the machine in the OFF position for 30
seconds. This is to prevent overloading the circuit.

For best results use AmazonBasics Thermal Lamingating Pouches, Order number:
B00D6BFEDI.
** Two (letter size) 3 mil pouches have been included.
Jam Release
1. The machine is equipped with a JAM RELEASE
LEVER to clear document jams, which is located
next to the ON/OFF switch.

3. Once document jams occur, turn OFF the machine
and press the JAM RELEASE LEVER to release
the jam. Remember to place the JAM RELEASE
LEVER back in the UP position after jam is removed.
