USING YOUR FOOD CHOPPER ACCESSORY
1. Before assembly, make sure accessory base is operating
correctly.
2. Place bowl on accessory base so that the tabs
on the bowl line up with lock opening. Turn bowl
counterclockwise until it locks in place and will not turn
any further (Figure 16).
3. Hold S blade by the center hub and place over post of
bowl. Caution: Blade is very sharp, handle carefully.
Rotate the S blade to make certain it is seated on the post
as far as it will go. Do not place S blade in bowl until the
bowl is locked in place (Figure 17). Always place S blade
in food processor before adding ingredients.
4. Place food in bowl. Food to be chopped should always be
cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
5. Place lid on bowl so that the tabs on the bowl line up with
lock openings on the lid, press down slightly and turn
counterclockwise until locked in place (Figure 18).
6. Place accessory base on the motor base of your Oster
blender (Figure 19). DO NOT OPERATE UNIT UNLESS
COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED.
7. Turn blender on. Select the lowest speed setting and
increase as needed. ALWAYS HOLD FOOD CHOPPER
ACCESSORY FIRMLY WITH ONE HAND WHEN
STARTING UNIT AND WHEN PROCESSING. Process
until you achieve the desired results by running the unit
continuously or fast pulse. Fast pulse is the technique
used to control the size of the food being chopped with
the food chopper accessory. Press and release the pulse
button very quickly. When done, turn unit off and unplug
blender.
8. Always wait for the S blade to stop spinning.
9. Remove food chopper accessory from blender motor
base.
10. Hold bowl handle with one hand and with other hand turn
lid clockwise to remove from bowl.
11. Remove S blade carefully. Be careful not to let blade fall
out of the container. The cutting edges are very sharp.
Scrape any remaining food from the blade and processing
bowl.
12. Unlock bowl from accessory base by turning bowl
clockwise.
