BEFORE OPERATING YOUR TOASTER
• Carefully unpack the toaster & clear away all of the
packaging.
• When using the toaster for the first time, let it operate for
at least five minutes without bread to burn off any manu-
facturing residues. Ensure the room is well ventilated
while doing so.

OPERATING YOUR TOASTER

• The toast rack (H) must be latched into its recesses (G).
• Insert the plug into a power point.
• Place the bread onto the toast rack (F).
• Press the ON/OFF button (B).
• Select the desired browning setting using the browning
control dial (A). (1 = light, 9 = dark).
• The toaster switches off when toasting is complete. Turn
the bread over and press again the start button.
• If the first slice is too light, select a higher setting using
the browning control dial (A).
• Toasting can be stopped at any time by pressing the
ON/OFF button (B).
USING THE DEFROST FEATURE
• Press the ON/OFF button (B).
• Press the Defrost button (C). The Defrost light illuminates
during defrosting. The toasting time is automatically
extended.
• Select the desired browning setting (A).
USING THE REHEAT FEATURE
• Press the ON/OFF button (B).
• Press the Reheat button (D). The Reheat light illuminates
during defrosting.
USING THE CORD STORAGE
• Any loose mains cord (K) can be wound around the cord
storage facility (I) located underneath the appliance.
