STATUS OF THE "ALARM" KEY
To view the configuration of the "ALARM" key (ref. 6 – Fig. 1, page 132), proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display.
One of the following is indicated in the "parameter" field:
• "OFF"
The "ALARM" key is disabled (not usable).
• "Play C" The "ALARM" key is configured to produce repeated playback (continuous play) of an audio signal stored on the CP 3100
control unit. The alarm signal is played completely at least once, and continues to be played until the alarm function is disa-
bled.
• "Play S" The "ALARM" key is configured to produce a single playback of an audio signal stored on the CP 3100 control unit. The alarm
signal is played only once, after which the alarm function is automatically disabled.
• "MIC."
The "ALARM" key is configured to control the transmission of a microphone announcement from the console.
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (PASSWORD STATUS).
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (STATUS OF THE F3 KEY).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.
PASSWORD STATUS
To view the status of the password for console locking, proceed as follows.
1) Press "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together and then release them. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display.
One of the following is indicated in the "parameter" field:
• "OFF" The password stored on the console is not valid. Console locking cannot be enabled.
• "ON"
The password stored on the console is valid, and it is possible to enable console locking (see the section "CONSOLE
LOCKING").
3a) Press "F3" to go to the next menu (FIRMWARE VERSION).
3b) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (STATUS OF THE ALARM KEY).
3c) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.
FIRMWARE VERSION
To view the version of the firmware of the console microprocessor, proceed as follows.
1) Press and release "CLEAR" and "ENTER" together. The message "ADDRESS = parameter" appears on the display.
2) Press "F3", repeating until the message below appears on the display, in which the firmware version is indicated in the "parameter" field
(e.g. "FIRMWARE V. 1.0").
3a) Press "F1" to go to the previous menu (PASSWORD STATUS).
3b) Press "CLEAR" to exit from the menu.
IMPORTANT NOTE
• In this case the "F3" key is not usable.
PARAMETERS SENT FROM THE CONTROL UNIT
When the system is configured by means of the CP 3100 control unit, the console receives various configuration parameters, which are shown
in the table below. If the configuration transmitted is correct, the console stores it; if not, it sends an alarm signal to the control unit.
