tions.
General
• Thanks to the adjustable thermostat you can use this device to keep water
warm or allow food to simmer or boil. It is therefore also suitable for preparing
instant or convenience foods, pasta and similar items.
Preparation
• Before using for the fi rst time, boil fresh water at least twice in the appliance.
Use only water without any additives or ingredients.
Lid
• Simmering and keeping warm: When using this function please do not
replace the lid as foam often forms which then overfl ows past the lid.
• Boiling and switching off: In order to ensure that the device switches off
automatically the lid must be in place.
Important Information
• Always use fresh water.
• Do not consume any water that has already been in the water container for
more than one hour.
• Do not re-boil water that has been allowed to cool down.
• Always pour old water away.
Electrical connection
• Check whether the electrical voltage that you intend to use is the same as that
of the machine. Details are to be found on the label on the base.
• Only connect the machine to a properly installed 230 V, 50 Hz safety socket.
