‧ This prevents any water running along the cable to the mains
socket, which would result in a short-circuit.
‧ Only connect the appliance to a correctly installed protective contact
mains socket.

Commissioning
Use
‧ The UVC clarifier can be operated with one (⌦F) or two outlet hoses (⌦E).
‧ The UVC clarifier can be operated with a filter (⌦F). To do so, close one of the two outlets with the blind
plug.
Inserting the UVC lamp
1. Insert the provided UVC lamp into the pond clarifier.
(see Chapter 6. Maintenance - replacing the lamp).
Attaching the UVC clarifier to a solid base (⌦A)
For a secure fitting, you can attach the UVC clarifier to a solid base (e.g. a wooden or metal plate). To do so,
proceed as follows:
1. Drill the corresponding fixing holes.
2. Screw the UVC clarifier onto the wooden or metal plate.
If you want to operate the UVC clarifier without a solid base, you must ensure that the UVC clarifier is
stable on its mounting feet.
Taking the UVC clarifier out of the bail restraint (⌦B)
1. Remove the fastening screws.
2. Take off the mounting bracket.
3. Lift the UVC clarifier out of the mounting feet.
Installing the hoses
1. Use a saw to shorten the connecting piece to the diameter of your hose (⌦C).
2. Connect the corresponding hose to the connecting piece b.
3. Insert the sealing washer c into the union nut a (⌦D).
4. Screw the connecting piece onto the desired screw connection on the UVC clarifier housing with the
union nut.
We recommend fastening the hoses with hose clamps.
