R
Do not touch the contacts of the docking connection.
R
Never attempt to connect the DCU 220 to the
docking station if there are any objects between the
DCU 220 and the docking station. This may cause
damage to the DCU 220 or the docking station.
R
Do not move the docking station while it is connect-
ed to the DCU 220.
R
If the DCU 220 does not function while connected
to the docking station, switch off the DCU 220 and
disconnect it from the docking station. Connect the
power supply unit to the DCU 220 and check wheth-
er the DCU 220 functions properly. If the DCU 220
functions properly, a fault may be present in the
docking station.
R
Never place any metal objects or containers with
liquids on the docking station. There is a risk of fire
or electric shock if metal objects (e.g. paper clip
or coin) or liquids enter the docking station. Imme-
diately disconnect the power cord and remove the
DCU 220 from the docking station.
R
Disconnect the power supply unit and remove the
DCU 220 from the docking station if:
$
the docking station is damaged
$
smoke comes from the docking station
$
a strange smell is noticed
$
the docking station is unusually hot.
Using the docking station if any of the above conditions
apply may lead to fire or electric shock.

Intended use
This docking station must only be connected to the
Convertible PC DCU 220 and provides various ports to
facilitate stationary work.
The docking station is intended to be used with the
DCU 220 only.
