Important Information
In these instructions, STATIS
The device must not be started without a bur inserted into the chuck. To avoid overheating of the handpiece, which could
cause burns, the push button auto chuck should not be pressed inadvertently while the instrument is rotating. Soft tissues (tongue, cheeks, lips etc.)
must be protected by deflection with a retractor or other dental instrument.
Never mount an instrument on a rotating motor. To ensure the STATIS contra-angle functions with maximum efficiency, it must be cooled by an air
supply of 8-10 norm liter/min on the nose of the micromotor.
