This appliance is not suitable for use by young children or infirm
persons unless closely supervised by a responsible person who
can ensure its safe use.
Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands. Do not touch
the cord or plug with wet hands.
Do not use any accessory attachment not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer. This may cause fire, electric shock or
injury.
To protect against risk of electrical shock, never immerse the
motor base in water. Remember that your blender is an electrical
appliance.
Clean the appliance housing using a damp cloth only.
Switch off the appliance and unplug the cord from the wall outlet
to isolate the appliance.
When unplugging the cord from the wall outlet, grasp the plug,
not the cord.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter or
touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
Disconnect the blender from the mains whenever it is not being
used, before attaching or removing accessories or when cleaning it.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way.
Instead, take it to the nearest authorised service centre for exam-
ination, repair or adjustment.
Never attempt to replace the cord, as special tools are required.
Repairs to or replacements of the cord should be left to a service
centre authorised by the manufacturer to ensure the safety of the
appliance.
Never immerse the cord, motor base or plug in water or other liq-
uid, as this could cause fire, electric shock or injury.
Caution: to avoid the risk of overriding the safety shutdown sys-
tem, the appliance must not be operated by means of an external
switch device such as a time switch, nor should it be connected

to an electrical circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the
electricity supply company.
The appliance must remain disconnected from the mains while it
is being cleaned.
Blades are sharp, handle carefully
Do not touch any rotating components or accessories.
Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep clothing, jewelry, hair, fin-
gers and utensils away from rotating components or accessories
to avoid serious injury to persons and damage to the appliance.
Check that the appliance is isolated from the mains before clean-
ing or putting it away.
Always operate blender with lid in place.
Retain these user instructions for
future reference.
INSTALLATION
Always place the appliance on a stable, horizontal surface.
This surface should neither be hot nor near a heat source. The
surface must be dry. Keep the appliance and cord out of the
reach of children.
Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label of the
appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage. (Use a
residual current device (RCD) – please contact a qualified
electrician for advice.) The wall outlet must be easily accessi-
ble while the appliance is in use in case of emergency.
If the plug provided with the appliance is incompatible with
the wall outlet, have it changed by a qualified electrician.
For US and Canada Customers only: This appliance has a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).To reduce
the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in appolarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit fully the outlet, reverse
