Before lifting, carefully inspect the hooks, the load chain, the brake device and the lubrication of the block. For your
own safety, strictly respect the following rules:
• Never lift a load exceeding the rated capacity of the chain block.
• Never stand or pass directly under the lifted load.
• Do not pull up the load too high or let go too far.
• Do not use the WCB1001/WCB2001 when the chain is kinked.
• Never drag the load so as not to strain the block. Place the load vertically under the block and lift.
• If the chain fails to move, do not pull the chain violently or by increasing the pulling force. Instead, stop the
operation immediately and control the chain block:
o Check if on object is blocking the chain.
o Have the parts checked.
o Make sure the load does not exceed the capacity of the device.
• Operate the device using manpower only.
• Make sure the chain block, the lubrication of the transmitting parts and the load chain are in good working order.
3. Operation
• Attach the load securely to the hook.
• Stand in the plane of the chain block. Remember never to stand or to pass under the lifted load.
• To lift the load, pull the hand chain in a steady motion. Do not tug at the chain.
• To lower the load, gently release the chain so the load lowers smoothly.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Store the chain block in a dry place.
2. Maintenance and inspection should be made by a skilled hand. Never allow any layman to assemble or
