Operating the 4-way manifold
➤ Close the "HIGH" knob (red).
➤ Close the "LOW" knob (blue).
Now fill the air conditioner as follows:
➤ Open the "HIGH" knob (red) or the "LOW" knob (blue) as needed.
➤ Open the "REF" knob (green) (fig. 2 10, page 3) to fill refrigerant via an
external refrigerant bottle until the required amount has been reached.
5.3 Completing the filling
➤ Close all valves.
➤ Detach all connections.
➤ Recycle the refrigerant from the hoses.
5.4 Performing the diagnosis/pressure test
➤ Close all valves.
✓ The pressure in the air conditioner is displayed.
5.5 Recovering refrigerant
➤ Open the "HIGH" knob (red) or the "LOW" knob (blue) as needed.
➤ Open the "REF" knob (green) (fig. 2 10, page 3) to fill the refrigerant out
of the air conditioner into an external refrigerant bottle with the help of a
suction station.
➤ Close all valves.
✓ If the air conditioner is completely empty, the displayed pressure is 0 bar
(0 Pa).
➤ If necessary, open the knobs again until the air conditioner is completely
emptied.
