Dumping

Once.Roboscooper.has.a.load.in.his.cargo.bed,.you.can.make.him.dump.it.
where.you.want..
To.do.so:
•. Press.the.
Dump.button..Roboscooper.will.back.up.and.move.forward.
several.times.to.empty.his.cargo.bed.
NOTE:.Before.dumping.his.cargo,.make.sure.his.cargo.hatch.is.opened.

Roboscooper.has.four.play.modes:
•. Clean Sweep .mode
•. Pick-up .mode

Talk
•. Whack .mode
When.you.access.each.mode,.he.will.tell.you.more.about.his.features.
and.even.joke.with.you!
Clean Sweep mode
In.Clean Sweep.mode,.Roboscooper.will.look.for.objects.to.pick.up.in.
his.path..
To.enter.Clean.Sweep.mode,.press.the.Autonomous.button.on.the.
remote.controller..He.will.look.for.objects.to.pick.up..After.five.successful.pick-ups,.he.will.dump.his.cargo.
against.the.nearest.wall.or.large.object..
To.exit.Clean.Sweep.mode,.press.the.Stop.button.on.the.remote.controller..
NOTE:.After.five.minutes,.if.Roboscooper.has.not.successfully.picked.up.five.objects,.he.will.return.to.
normal.mode..
Pick-up mode
In.Pick-up mode,.Roboscooper.will.locate.and.pick.up.objects.he.detects.automatically..
To.make.him.enter.Pick-up.mode,.double-tap.the.Autonomous.button..After.picking.up.he.will.drive.forward.
to.search.for.something.else.to.pick.up..He.can.identify.if.something.is.placed.between.his.hands..
After.three.successful.pick-ups,.he.will.ask.where.to.dump.it.and.then.drive.around.to.look.for.a.wall.to.
dump.his.cargo..To.make.him.start.his.pick-up.routine.again,.double-tap.the.Autonomous.button.again.
If.Roboscooper.cannot.reach.the.object,.he.will.make.a.comment.saying.so..To.make.him.try.again,.double-
tap.the.Autonomous.button.
To.exit.Pick-up.mode.mode,.press.the.Stop.button.on.the.remote.controller.
NOTES
•. If.the.object.is.too.heavy.for.him.to.pick.up,.he.will.reset.himself.to.his.default.position..When.the.
object.is.too.bulky.or.too.large.for.him.to.pick.up,.his.hands.might.get.snagged.over.his.cargo.bed..He.
will.shake.the.object.out.of.his.grips.and.then.drive.to.the.next.object.to.pick.up..
•. You.can.make.Roboscooper.dump.his.cargo.manually..Refer.to.the.section.
TIPS
•. Try.placing.objects.in.front.of.him.for.him.to.pick.up.one.at.a.time,.rather.than.in.a.straight.line.as.he.might.
not.be.able.to.drive.straight..
•. Try.to.avoid.stationary.objects.such.as.table.legs.
•. Try.to.keep.objects.at.least.3.feet.(around.1.m).away.from.walls.or.large.obstacles.such.as.furniture.
