WHAT TO DO IF YOU PUNCTURE:
1.
Take out the compressor and the bottle of
sealant (Active Seal) from the case.
2.
Try to identify the object causing the
puncture (nail, screw, piece of junk) and
mark its location before removing it.
3.
Rotate the tire in such a way that the
puncture (in case you have been able to
find it) is in the upper part of it. This will
allow the Sealant to perform at its best
(Fig. 1).
4.
Shake the bottle well before use.
5.
Extract the cap and the transparent hose,
which is attached to it, from the bottle.
6.
Remove the cap from the hose and place
the bottle on a horizontal and stable
surface.
7.
Insert the cap into the valve after
removing its protection and then unscrew
and extract the inner part of the valve,
taking care to put it in a safe place (Fig.
2). In case of need, you can find a spare
valve inside the accessories bag.
8.
Insert the hose into the valve and inject
the content of the bottle into the tire (Fig.
3).
9.
Re-assemble the inner part of the valve
by means of the cap provided with the kit.
(Fig. 4)
10. Connect the compressor to the cigar
lighter socket and start up your car engine.
11. Connect the air hose to the valve and
activate the compressor (Fig. 5). Pouring
out of the tire of a small quantity of liquid
is to be considered normal.
After a few minutes, check the pressure gauge
in order to make sure that the desired pressure
has been reached. You are highly advised to
14
follow the Manufacturer's recommendations
on Tire Pressure that can be found in the User
and Maintenance Manual. You can increase
pressure by 5 PSI (about 0.3 bar) in order to
make up for the pressure loss that may occur
before the Sealant has repaired the puncture.
Make sure the pressure indicator is at least in
the YELLOW area (20/40 PSI) by temporarily
turning the compressor off in order to obtain a
more accurate reading.
Make sure the YELLOW area is stably reached.
If this is not the case, it means that the damage
is too serious and cannot be repaired. In such
a case, we advise you to contact the roadside
assistance service.
Once the desired pressure has been reached,
turn the compressor off by putting the switch
on "OFF" (O).
Disconnect the compressor from the cigar
lighter socket.
Unscrew the BLACK hose of the compressor
and put it back in its case.
WARNING
Start driving immediately to enable the liquid to
spread properly inside the tire. Do not exceed a
maximum speed of 80 Km/h per hour.
After about 3 km or a few-minute drive stop
and check the pressure of the repaired tire
to make sure that the Sealant has correctly
plugged the puncture and the pressure has
reached the required level.
If pressure needs to be regulated, follow the
