Threaded Hooks Boom Boom Extension Boom Leg Support Arm... - Página 3 ASSEMBLY InSTRUCTIOn FOR MODEL 44700 (refer to Figure 2) 1. Insert the wide leg (#13) into tube welded at the end of boom (#1) and the narrow leg (#14) to boom extension (#2). 2. Slide transfer adapter (#11) over the end of boom extension (#2) with tube toward you. 3. Insert the boom extension (#2) into boom (#1). nOTE: The Engine Transverse Bar may be used with or without support arm, depending on the load being supported. 4. To use without support arm: Secure both threaded hooks (#3) to the tube welded on boom and transfer adapter with barrel hex. nut (#7). Thread the hex. nut (#7) all the way down towards the hook portion to hold it out of the way until needed. 5. To use with support arm: (a) Insert the adjustable leg (#6) to support arm (#10), then hand tight with M8x65 bolt and wing nut (#9 & 8). Do not fully tighten wing nut as height adjustment may be necessary once the Engine Transverse Bar is placed over the engine compartment of the vehicle. (b) After determining the length of support arm needed, Connect the support arm (#10) to transfer adapter (#11) on the boom extension with M12x120 bolt and wing nut (#5 & 4). Insérez la patte large (13) à l'extrémité de la flèche (1) et la patte mince (14) dans la rallonge télescopique de la flèche (2). 2. Faites glisser l'adaptateur (11) sur l'extrémité de la rallonge télescopique de la flèche (2), le tube étant orienté vers vous. 3. Insérez la rallonge (2) dans la flèche (1). REMARQUE : La barre transversale de support de moteur peut être utilisée avec ou sans le bras de support, en fonction de la charge à supporter. 4. Pour utiliser la barre sans bras de support : Fixez les deux crochets filetés (3) à l'adaptateur et au tube soudé sur la flèche avec des écrous hexagonaux à portée cylindrique (7). Vissez l'écrou hexagonal (7) de manière à le rapprocher le plus possible de la partie courbée du crochet pour qu'il ne nuise pas à vos mouvements jusqu'à ce que vous en ayez besoin. 5. Pour utiliser la barre avec le bras de support : (a) Insérez la patte ajustable (6) dans le bras de support (10), puis serrez-les à la main avec un boulon M8 x 65 mm et un écrou à oreilles (8 et 9). Inserte la pata ancha (N.º 13) en el tubo soldado que se encuentra en el extremo de la pluma (N.º 1) y la pata angosta (N.º 14), en la extensión de la pluma (N.º 2). 2. Deslice el adaptador de transferencia (N.º 11) sobre el extremo de la extensión de la pluma (N.º 2) con el tubo dirigido hacia usted. 3. Inserte la extensión de la pluma (N.º 2) en la pluma (N.º 1). nOTA: La barra transversal de motor se puede utilizar con o sin brazo de soporte, según la carga que se sostenga. 4. Para utilizarla con brazo de soporte: (a) Inserte la pata ajustable (N.º 6) en el brazo de soporte (N.º 10). Luego, ajústela a mano con un perno M8 x 65 y una tuerca mariposa (N.º 9 y 8). No apriete del todo la tuerca mariposa, ya que es posible que sea necesario ajustar la altura una vez que se coloque la barra transversal de motor sobre el compartimiento del motor del vehículo.
