Operation:
1.
After receiving the device, choose the method of driving the coil. Two driving methods are available:
a. Manual crank:
In order to drive the coil with the manual crank, attach the crank to the appropriate point of the
coil drum, as shown in the figure above. The crank is installed as „snap-on". Hold the device tight and
securely with both hands.
In order to remove the crank, prise it gently with a flat screw driver at both fitting points, while
removing it gently from the device.
b. Driving with a power tool
In order to drive the coil with an electric drill, screwdriver, etc., attach the hexagonal driver to the
device spindle and secure it in such a way that it moves together with the tool spindle. The device is
fitted with a standard driver, compatible with most power tools. Caution!: Use only power tools with
adjustable rotation speed in the lower rpm range! Always be ready to immediately stop the power
tool.
2.
After choosing the driving method, loosen the coil pressure adjustment knob (5)allowing the coil
to move freely inside the outlet head, and pull out about 10 cm of the coil length (unless the pipe is
clogged further from the place of inserting the coil – in this case, choose the length appropriately).
3.
Next, tighten the coil pressure adjustment knob (5) in such a way as to prevent the coil from coming
out. Remember not to overtighten the knob (5), as this would completely lock the coil in the head.
4.
In order to start clearing/cleaning the pipe, hold the handle (4) with one hand and, depending on the
selected driving method, either:
a. Wind the crank clockwise; or
b. Set the power tool to rotate clockwise and turn it on, maintaining low rpm.
c. Caution!: Always hold the tool tightly and securely, otherwise the reverse torque of the transmission
system may get the device out-of-control.
5.
During clearing/cleaning, the coil should perform working motion by unscrewing out of the head.
Caution!: The coil is 7.5m long, clearing/cleaning the pipe with length over this value is impossible.
6.
After having used the machine, clean thoroughly the device before winding back the coil.
7.
In order to wind the coil:
a. Rotate the crank counter clockwise until the coil tip comes close to the head.
b. If you use a power tool, set the rotation counter clockwise and turn the tool on at low speed until
the tip of the coil approaches the head.
c. You can also unscrew the coil pressure adjustment knob (5) and manually insert the coil into the
machine drum.
